we began our heavy involvement in the auto industry by creating and organizing the first Automotive News World Congress, an international symposium of the world’s leading auto industry executives.
This was a major, ground-breaking gathering of industry leaders who came together for several days to focus on global issues affecting the industry. For our efforts in producing this major event, we earned the prestigious Gold Key Award from Successful Meetings Magazine as the best meeting planners in the United States. The World Congress continues to be held to this day and is now in its 35th year.
Soon after our work for Automotive News, we were hired by Lee Iacocca’s senior management team at The Chrysler Corporation as the agency of record for the Central Region, covering seventeen states, handling national marketing programs, grass roots public relations and major product launches. For ten years, we worked with all levels of the automotive channel: manufacturers, dealers, dealer co-ops and local marketing representatives, and consumer outreach, to aggressively represent the various Chrysler brands and return Chrysler to a respected position in the industry.
Through the years, we have continued to have a hand in the auto industry. We helped create and have been active in the Midwest Automotive Media Association and are well known among the industry’s key journalists and prognosticators. We’ve had fun along the way, spearheading the promotional efforts of such major auto events as World of Wheels and Chevy Vettefest.
